Posterior Cruciate Ligament

The PCL is the largest and strongest ligament in the human knee.  It is at the back of the knee and stabilises the tibia on the femur.

Synonyms:. Cruciform ligament

Symptoms: Swelling , instability, pain

Conditions:  Tear, rupture, sprain
